We seek a friendly and reliable individual to join our team as a Cashier. In this role, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service at the checkouts, accurately recording customer transactions, and maintaining cash security at all times.

Responsibilities:

Provide excellent customer service at the checkouts, ensuring that customer service is the priority
Accurately record customer transactions on POS systems
Verify and bag sold merchandise following NWC bagging procedures
Practice "stop, drop, and serve" principles at all times to enhance customer service
Answer customer questions or concerns quickly and professionally
Follow all laws and procedures related to selling tobacco and controlled products
Process credit purchases, refunds, and exchanges as per NWC guidelines
Understand and follow the scanning code of practice
Check for concealed merchandise when scanning purchases
Maintain security of cash at all times
Be accountable for all register opening and closing activities

Requirements:

No education or experience is required
Strong customer service skills
Ability to handle cash and perform basic math
Attention to detail and ability to multitask
Good communication and teamwork skills
