Compensation & Benefits Information
· Rate of pay: Between $51.91 per hour and $60.30 per hour

Job Summary:
The Manager, Laboratory & Pharmacy is responsible for:
Laboratory
Managing
the clinical coordination of the Laboratory, ensuring quality of testing and
patient care through day-to-day planning; coordination of human and material
resources and uses clinical knowledge and leadership to promote delivery of
quality service.
Pharmacy
The role involves leading the pharmacy department by setting its purpose, goals, and objectives, while ensuring safe, efficient drug distribution systems and adherence to policies, legislation, and hospital standards. Responsibilities include managing budgets, procurement, staffing, performance, education, and participation in multidisciplinary care, as well as overseeing quality, risk management, and drug utilization activities. The position also requires effective communication with other health care agencies, alignment with the facility’s mission, and compliance with safety regulations, including WHMIS and hazardous material handling.
Requirements:
Certifications and Registrations
· Successful completion of a Doctorate of Pharmacy (PharmD) from an accredited university and must be fully licensed, in good standing, by the Ontario College of Pharmacists or fully licensed, in good standing with the College of Medical Laboratory Technologists of Ontario (CMLTO)
Skill, Ability & Experience:
· Demonstrated ability to be motivated, self-directed and work as part of a team
· Excellent interpersonal, written, verbal and clinical communication skills
· Minimum 2 years experience as a Hospital Pharmacist or Hospital Charge Medical Laboratory Technologist (preferred)
