Compensation & Benefits Information
· Rate of pay: Between $31.43 per hour and $35.14 per hour

Job Summary:
The Wellness & Volunteer Coordinator is responsible for developing and implementing wellness, recreation and recognition programs and initiatives to promote the overall wellbeing of employees in the workplace. They will play a crucial role in creating a positive and healthy work environment, fostering employee engagement, and improving employee productivity. This role requires excellent communication skills, a deep understanding of wellness principles and the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders within the organization. In addition, the Wellness & Volunteer Coordinator is responsible for providing general support to the Human Resources department including oversight of the Hospital Housing program.
Requirements:
Certifications and Registrations
Diploma or degree in a related field such as health promotion, public health, or wellness management or a combination of education and experience in a related role.
Certification in wellness coaching, health education, or a related field is highly desirable.
Skill, Ability & Experience:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage and motivate employees.
Strong organizational and project management abilities to plan, implement, and coordinate wellness programs.
Sound knowledge of wellness principles, including nutrition, physical activity, stress management, and mental health.
Ability to develop and deliver engaging and informative presentations and workshops.
Proficient in using technology for data analysis, program tracking, and communication purposes.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-based environment.
Outstanding problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and address wellness-related issues.
Flexibility and adaptability to adjust wellness programs based on the evolving needs of employees.
Proven experience in developing and implementing wellness programs in a corporate or organizational setting.
Knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, and best practices related to workplace wellness.
Familiarity with data analysis and program evaluation techniques to measure the impact of wellness initiatives.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, social media and other relevant software applications.
Bilingualism is preferred.
