Respiratory Therapist - Blanche River Health

Job Summary:

The successful applicant will be a part of a collaborative team making a difference across multiple areas, including outpatient diagnostics to inpatient support and community-based respiratory care.

Schedule will be Monday to Friday!

  • Outpatient services: Pulmonary Function Tests, stress testing, ABGs, home oxygen assessments
  • Cardiac Rehab Program support
  • Inpatient care, including invasive and non-invasive ventilation
  • Emergency Department and ICU support for respiratory patients
  • Community-based care through our partnership with the Kirkland & District Family Health Team, where you’ll provide:
    • COPD, asthma, and chronic respiratory disease education
    • Smoking cessation support through the STOP (Smoking Treatment for Ontario Patients) Program

Blanche River Health Offers:  

·         INCENTIVE PACKAGE AVAILABLE up to $21,000 in value!!!

  • Signing bonus - $15,000
  • Relocation allowance – up to $3000 if relocating from outside of Northern Eastern Ontario

Compensation & Benefits Information

·         Rate of pay ranges from: $38.35 to $53.28, as per the OPSEU Collective Agreement

·         Paid vacation and benefits coverage as per the OPSEU Collective Agreement  

Qualifications

·         Must have completed a three-year accredited Respiratory Therapy program and have passed qualifying examinations

·         Certification by the C.S.R.T. as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (R.R.T.),

·         Registration and be licensed to practice with the College of Respiratory Therapists of Ontario (CRTO) in good standing.

·         Bilingualism is an asset.

·         Must be willing and able to travel as required.

·         Other duties as assigned
